Biography
Background: Julie Castillejo joins the Wildcat Track and Field roster as a freshman from North Kitsap High School. The sprinter from Poulsbo, WA was a WIAA 2A State Meet Qualifier as a sophomore, junior, and senior. In 2023, the sophomore competed in the open 400m. As a junior, Castillejo competed in the open 400m and the 4x100m relay. In her senior season she became the 2A Olympic league champion in the open 400m and rounded out her high school career with a third state qualification in the event. Off the track, Julie has received the Seal of Biliteracy for Spanish, has participated in the NAfME All Northwest Jazz Band, and is intending to major in Art Education.
