2024-2025: Julie Johnson is another three season athlete, starting with cross country during the fall and starting indoor track in January. During cross country, Julie made the GNAC Cross Country Championships roster, helping the women's team to place 7th overall. She ran the mile, 3000m, and 5000m during her indoor season. Julie was a dual event qualifier for the Indoor GNAC Championships, in the 3000m and 5000m. For outdoor season, she added a few more events including the 1500m, 3000m steeplechase, and 10,000m. At the Oregon Preview, Julie had a PR in the 5000m, a 1500m PR at the Whitworth Jefferahn Classic, and a PR in the 3000m steeplechase during the OSU High Performance meet. She qualified in the 3000m steeplechase for the Outdoor GNAC Championships.  
Background: A freshman from Puyallup, WA, Julie Johnson comes in as a three-time Washington State Championship qualifier in cross country. Johnson also is poised for a breakout season from events ranging from 1600 meters to 5000 meters in her first year as a collegian.
High School: Graduated from Rogers High School. Districts State Qualifier Top 20 Cross Country Team Captain

Personal: My mom is Janet Johnson and my dad is Destry Johnson they have been married for 23 years! I have two siblings, who are twins, Erika and Tyler and both love to run as well! My birthday is November 24 and my favorite birthday gift was when I adopted the best cat ever Kit Cat from the local shelter!
