Biography
2024-2025: Kamia finished out her freshman campaign with a dual-event qualification in the GNAC Outdoor Championships making her conference debut in both the Javelin and the Discus. She saw great improvement in her javelin with a PR of 35.34 m at the Whitworth Peace Meet and a collegiate best discus throw of 36.13 m at the same meet.
Background: Kamia Tootoosis-Didier joins the Wildcat track and field team from R.A. Long High School in Longview, Washington. She was a four sport high school athlete competing in softball, basketball, volleyball, and track. Kamia found track and field later in her athletic career picking up the throwing events in 2023. She won her district and qualified for the WIAA State track and Field meet for the first time that same year in the discus. In 2024 Kamia led a campaign that earned her a district championship, and a state runner-up finish.
