Central Washington University Athletics

2024-2025: Leighton started off her collegiate athletic career with Defensive Player of the Week for soccer, and competed for the track team in December. An all around athlete, Leighton competed indoors in the 60m hurdles, shot put, and long jump. Outdoors, she competed in the long jump, 100m hurdles, and javelin. She finished out her freshman year as a two-time Outdoor GNAC Championship qualifier in the long jump and javelin throw. 
Background: Two Sport Athlete Leighton Menge will join us as a combined eventer after Soccer season annually.  Leighton is a two-time WIAA 2A state finalist in the 100mh and 2024 finalist in the Long Jump.  Also a regular member of both Kingston High School relay teams, Leighton brings speed, athleticism, endurance, and a desire to work to improve.

Achievements: Qualified for state in both 100HH and LJ 3/4 years of high school and compete twice at state finishing 5th and 7th in 100HH and 6th in LJ. 2x captain for high school team and 3 time MVP.
