2024-2025: Luke Hurd finished his cross country season strong, running on the GNAC Cross Country Championship roster and helped the men's team to place 5th overall. He also ran on the NCAA DII Regional roster as well, where the men's team placed 8th. Luke joined the track roster during outdoor, where he ran the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, and 10,000m throughout the outdoor season. Luke had a PR in the 1500m and placed first in the 10,000m at the Wildcat Opener, a PR in the 5000m at the Whitworth Peace meet, and a second place finish and PR in the 3000m at the Wildcat Invitational. His PR of 14:40.91 in the 5000m makes him #10 on the All-Time list. Luke was a dual event qualifier in the 5000m and 10,000m for the Outdoor GNAC Championships, and had a PR in the 10,000m at conference. 
Background: The three-time NWAC Champion transfers into the Wildcat program, coming off of strong success in his first two years of collegiate running at Spokane Falls Community College. His career is highlighted thus far by winning the 2023 NWAC Cross Country Championship as well as a two-time champion in the Men’s 5000 meters, and runner up in the Men’s 10,000.
