Central Washington University Athletics

Austin joined the Wildcats’ staff in 2024 as an assistant athletic trainer.  
 

She is the primary certified athletic trainer for Track & Field and previously served as the primary athletic trainer for women's rugby.
 

Prior to her time at Central Washington, Austin attended Washington State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine in 2023 and Master of Athletic Training in 2024. While in Pullman, Austin assisted in the care of the Men’s Basketball & Women’s Volleyball teams, in addition to completing several off-campus rotations in Eastern Washington and Western Idaho. In 2022, Austin assisted the Portland Trail Blazers’ Medical Staff with the 2022 Summer League Tournament in Las Vegas, where the team won the championship.  
 

Austin is a Board Certified (BOC) Athletic Trainer and a licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Washington.  
 

Austin resides in Zillah, Washington with her fiance and is a native of Yakima, Washington.
