E’lexis Hollis joined the Wildcats in 2020 as a sprinter on the Central Track and Field team and has returned as a coach. During her time at Central, she graduated with her BA in Special Education, along with a minor in Early Childhood and a State of Washington Education Certificate. While she finished out her athletic eligibility in track, E’lexis was working towards her M.A. of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and plans to graduate in June of 2026. Throughout her degrees, she practicum and student taught within the Ellensburg School District. E’lexis finished her track career as a 6-time All-American, 5-time school record holder, and a 7-time GNAC conference champion. Before joining CWU, she went to Ellensburg High School in Ellensburg, Washington, where she started track in 7th grade. E’lexis qualified for 2A State in 100, 4x1, and 4x2 her freshman, sophomore, and junior year; her senior year was cut short due to COVID-19. She holds the Ellensburg High School record in the 100m at 12.25.
