Central Washington University Athletics

Samantha Karimi joined the Wildcats' staff in 2026 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

She is the primary Athletic Trainer for the Women's Soccer and Softball programs.

Prior to her time at Central Washington, Karimi earned her Master of Athletic Training from Colorado Mesa University in 2026 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2024. During her athletic training education, she completed an immersive clinical rotation with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Football program and also gained experience working with Colorado Mesa University's football and men's lacrosse programs, as well as at the high school level.

Karimi is a Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer and is also a  licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Washington. Karimi resides in Ellensburg, WA, and is a native of Longmont, Colorado.
