Sophomore outside hitter Shelby Mauritson was one of the primary offensive weapons for the Wildcats in their two games last week. Against Simon Fraser, CWU relied heavily on Mauritson’s striking ability in the closing points of the five-set thriller. She recorded 15 kills and 20 digs to earn the match victory against the Clan. Against Western Washington University, Mauritson finished the match with a team-high eight kills, seven digs and an impressive hitting percentage of 0.385.
