Weems picked up a pair of GNAC Indoor Titles this past weekend as the Wildcats placed third at the Conference Indoor Championship Meet for both men and women. Weems was a champion in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dash to go along with a second-place finish in the 60-meter Hurdles. She ran a personal-best time of 8.61 second in the 60-meter Hurdles to earn her runner-up finish. In the 400, she crossed the finish line in a time of 56.69 to take home gold. The 200 also saw Weems set a new personal best as she won the race in a time of 24.56 to secure her second indoor conference crown. She also anchored the 4x400-meter relay team comprised of Noelia Juarez, McCall DeChenne and Sidney Trinidad. The group completed the race in 3:49.73, winning their heat. The time was good enough to set a new CWU record.
