Senior guard Dom Hunter eclipsed the 25-point plateau for the fourth consecutive game this year. Hunter was the catalyst the Wildcats needed to earn an overtime victory over the Dixie State University Trailblazers. Hunter led all scorers with 33 points, making 9 of 15 shots including 5 of 10 from three, and converted on 10 of his 11 free throw attempts. Against #17 Minnesota State Mankato, Hunter tallied 27 points on 10 of 22 shooting. He also recorded four rebounds, three assists and one steal. Averaging 28.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game, Hunter has made an immediate impact in his first year with CWU.Â
