Junior Aiyana Homer impressed spectators in a variety of events at the Spokane Falls Community College War X meet. In the shot put, Homer captured the event title after throwing a distance of 40 feet, 9 inches. She followed this performance with a seventh-place finish in the hammer throw (148-06) and tenth-place finish in the discus (107-01). Homer currently ranks eighth in the West Region with a season-best shot put of 42 feet at the Stanford Invitational.
