Senior guard Beverly Verduin came of the bench to provide a much needed spark for the CWU women's basketball team against NNU and MSUB. Against the Nighthawks, she recorded 13 points, a career-high, including a 3-for-4 effort from beyond the arc. She followed up this performance with 12 points, three assists and two steals against MSUB in only 19 minutes of action. Verduin has shot a team-best 48.3-percent from beyond the arc and 78.3-percent from the charity stripe this season.
