True freshman Braydon Maier highlighted the list of performances for the men’s track and field team after capturing the heptathlon event title with a total of 5,006 points. The Selah, Wash.-native won the 60-meter hurdle portion of the event (8.47 seconds), as well as the pole vault (15 feet, 6.5 inches) by over a foot to claim the title.
