Whittaker led the CWU jumping core after leaping a distance of 46 feet, 6.25 inches to win the triple jump last weekend at the 2018 Ralph Vernacchia Track and Field Meet. Whittaker’s jump is not only a new season-best for the junior from Poulsbo, Wash., but currently ranks fourth in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
