True freshman Braydon Maier was named the Men's Field Athlete of the Meet this past weekend at the GNAC Championships after winning the pole vault. Maier won the event after clearing a height of 15 feet, 6.25 inches, which was six inches higher than the closest competitor. The freshman from Selah, Wash. now has three GNAC Titles under his belt, including the men's decathlon and indoor heptathlon.
