Ellensburg, Wash - Turlan Morlan was named the Central Washington University male Student-Athlete of the week for his efforts at the CWU Invite last Saturday. 

In his first collegiate race, Morlan ran to victory with a time of 22:37. He blazed through the 7k course with a time that was 12 seconds faster than his closest competitor.

Morlan and the rest of the CWU cross country team are back in action this weekend when they take part in the Saint Martin's Invite on Saturday in Lacey, Washington.
