Ellensburg, Wash - For the second consecutive week, Makala Swart has been named the Central Washington University female Student-Athlete of the week.Â
Swart had a strong weekend of GNAC conference play, racking up 30 kills in 7 sets of action, good enough for 4.3 kills per set. Last Thursday, Swart had 16 kills on a .326 hitting percentage against Simon Fraser. Defensively, the sophomore out of Naches Valley, Washington added 26 digs and five blocks.Â
Swart and the rest of the CWU Volleyball team hit the road this weekend, playing at Western Oregon at Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Then on Saturday, the team plays Concordia (Ore) at 7:00 p.m.
