Central Washington University Athletics

Alexa Shindruk has been named Central Washington University Athletics Female Student-Athlete of the Week. 

Shindruk had an outstanding performance in Saturday’s Lewis-Clark State Invitational. The speedy senior placed third overall with a time of 17:27. She was the fastest NCAA Division II. Shindruk’s spot on the podium led the Wildcats to a sixth place finish. Shindruk's efforts earned her GNAC Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. 

The final tuneup for Shindruk and the Wildcats before the GNAC Championships happen this Saturday at the Western Washington University Invitational.
