ELLENSBURG (Jan. 18) -- The men's basketball rivalry between Central Washington University and Western Washington University will return to the television limelight tonight as the Wildcats visit the Vikings at 7 p.m. in a game that can be seen on ROOT Sports (formerly FSN Northwest).
The Wildcats and Vikings will meet for the 244th time on the hardwood, with CWU leading the all-time series 152-91. This year marks the third consecutive year that the match-up will be televised from Carver Gym in Bellingham, with CWU having lost its last two televised meetings with WWU. Overall, Central Washington has a 2-2 record on FSN Northwest/ROOT, with all four telecasts coming in the past two years.

Western Washington is ranked 22nd in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II national poll this week, bringing a 15-3 overall record and 6-1 mark in conference games into tonight's contest. The Vikings average 82.4 points per game and are led in scoring by senior Rory Blanche at 16.0 points per game.
