(Dec. 18) -- The Central Washington University men's basketball team fell to the University of Central Oklahoma, 86-84, to open play at the South Point Holiday Hoops Classic on Tuesday evening at the Arena at South Point. CWU fell to 6-3 with the loss, while UCO, which plays in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), improved to 3-6 on the year.

The Wildcats face the University of West Florida on Wednesday night (Dec. 19) at 9 p.m. Pacific Time to complete their two-day stay at the tournament.
