The Wildcat inflated the lead to 22-0 by the 31

Mele Halahuni followed suit two minutes later to make the score 15-0.
"We made a few changes to our attacking system so it took a little time to get some flow," Head coach
Mel Denham said. "Once we were able to get going, the team looked good. We started to capitalize on attacking opportunities."
Katerina Long converted one of her four two-point conversions to give the Wildcats a 17-0 advantage, and
Asinate Serevi punched in the first of her two trys in the 31

"
Katerina Long played very well today," Denham said. "She stepped up and took control at fullback and then at flyhalf in the second half. Her kicks were spot on, her decisions were made with confidence and her overall leadership and communication played a big role in the team's success."
Ve'evalu capped the first half with her second try of the game in the 45
th minute. She was also responsible for the last try in the second half to give her a hat trick on the day.
The Wildcats will travel to Pullman, Wash., next weekend (Feb 28.) to battle the Cougars of Washington State University.
"While the score was in our favor, we have some work to do this week," Denham added. "WSU is a talented team and they will be a challenge for us."
