"It was a great game. Regis is one of top teams in RMAC," head coach
Michael Farrand said after the game. "We had some great chances on goal. Mack got in one-on-one and laid a ball across the top of the goal. When the second half got underway we turned the ball over a little bit and that's when they scored. It was our best game of the year we did things better in this game than we had previously this season. I really believe we did some good things today. We had some good chances, but we just couldn't finish."
The Wildcats finished with a shooting advantage, 12-6. White finished with five saves. Martonick had two shots and both were on goal.
"Amanda came up and made a couple big saves for us," Farrand said of his keeper's play. "She was able to help keep us in the game."
Central Washington will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 11, in a home match against California State University Monterey Bay. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
