THE GAME

LAST WEEK
Central Washington split their games last week at the Sodexo Tip-Off Classic in Seattle, Wash. against Hawaii Hilo and Concordia-Irvine.
Against the Vulcans, freshman Khalil Shabazz scored a game-high 25 points to propel the Wildcats to an 84-79 victory. CWU used a 23-0 run to build a 19-point lead. In fact, the Vulcans went over 17 minutes without a field goal.
Against Concordia-Irvine, CWU erased a massive second-half deficit to pull to within one point of Concordia University-Irvine with 45 seconds to play, but the Eagles shut the door on the Wildcats' comeback attempts to take home a 65-60 victory.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
Walla Walla
Walla Walla dropped their first two games of the season against Lewis-Clark State College (65-95) and Eastern Washington University (61-82). The Wolves have responded well, winning four of their last five games including a pair of victories over Salish Kootenai College and New Hope Christian College. Walla Walla is averaging 70.4 points while shooting 38.9 percent from the field.
Leading the WWU attack is Wesley Burke, who averages 13.9 points per game. Roy Zavala registers 9.6 points per game, followed by () with () points. Alec Calloway leads the Wolves in rebounds, hauling in 7.4 per contest. Michael Isotalo dishes out a team-high 4.2 assists per game.

The Wildcats will kick off conference play next Thursday (Nov. 30) against Saint Martin's University. CWU will battle the Saints in Nicholson Pavilion at 7 p.m. PST.
