ABOUT THE WILDCATS

CUMMINGS AND GOINGS
Christian Cummings is coming into his own in his junior season.  He has posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing games in the Wildcats last two games.  In the Wildcats upset victory over Azusa Pacific Cummings ran for a career high of 110 yards on 17 carries.  Last week, he put up 108 yards on the ground and scored three times.

On the season, Cummings is averaging 81.5 yards per game and 4.3 yards per carry.

BALL HAWKING HUERTA
Senior defensive back Jackson Huerta makes his impact felt all over the field.  He leads the defense in total tackles (31), interceptions (2), and pass breakups (3).

Huerta leads the nation in interception return yardage with 141 yards on just two picks.  This past week, Huerta ran back a blocked PAT 92 yards for a defensive 2-point conversion.

NATIONALLY RANKED DEFENSE
The CWU defense has flexed its muscle this season and has found itself ranked in the top 25 in a number of areas.  The Wildcats rank 13th in both team sacks (3.5 per game) and team tackles for loss (9.3 per game).  They also are 12th in interceptions (7), 15th in rushing defense (91.5 per game), and 19th in 3rd down conversion defense at 0.293.

ABOUT SIMON FRASER
Simon Fraser is coming off two losses they hope to forget.  In the last two contests, they have been outscored 155-21, taking a 72-14 loss against Humboldt State, followed by an 83-7 defeat to the hands of Azusa Pacific.  The 83 points scored last week was the most in a GNAC game.

Offensively, quarterback Miles Richardson has been a bright spot, totaling 1,032 passing yards for an average of 258.0 yards per game.  Richardson has thrown six touchdowns on the season, but has evened that out with six interceptions on the season.

The offensive line has been a big issue all season, as the Clan have allowed 17 sacks, which could pose some issues as the Wildcats lead the conference with 14 sacks on the season.

Defensively, the Clan has struggled to stop opposing offenses, especially against the run.  Simon Fraser is giving up an average of 254.8 rushing yards per game, and 512.0 in total yards.

Simon Fraser will be looking to pick up its first win in 27 matches, as they carry a winless streak that dates back to the 2014 season.

SERIES HISTORY
