ELLENBURG, Wash. (Oct. 1) – Central Washington University football player Chase DeMoor earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
 
DeMoor blocked a field goal and extra point against West Texas A&M.  The senior has accumulated four blocked kicks on the season, he is tied for the NCAA (all divisions) lead with Corey Coppola of Davidson (DI FCS).  DeMoor leads all NCAA Division II players in blocked kicks.
 
The Wildcats are back in action this Saturday at Azusa Pacific for a nationally televised game on ESPN3.
