ELLENSBURG, Wash.- A small group of athletes from the Central Washington University indoor track and field team will travel to Seattle, Wash. this Saturday to compete at the DII Last Chance Qualifier.
Â
Hosted by Seattle Pacific University, the meet will be held at the Dempsey Indoor on the campus of the University of Washington. Considered one of the premier indoor facilities on the West Coast, the 80,000-square foot Dempsey Indoor is the largest addition to Washington's growing athletic complex. The facility includes a 307 meter MONDO track, a full 100 yard FieldTurf infield and hitting cages for Husky baseball and softball.

"It is not going to be too big of a group for this weekend," CWU head coach
Kevin Adkisson said. "Many of our athletes decided to rest this weekend after a busy conference meet last week. We are planning on sending a total of seven athletes primarily from the hurdles and multi-event group."
