QUOTABLE
"We want to continue what we started last week," CWU Head Coach Desi Storey said.  "Our bats were alive, pitching looked fantastic, and when we needed guys to step up, they did.  I'd like to be a bit more consistent on offense, we had a few zeros strung up in a row, but overall, we found a groove and this week we want to continue it.  We've got a good start to GNACs and it's our first chance to pick up wins at home."

SCOUTING CONCORDIA (ORE.)
The Cavaliers are just 2-12 this season and 1-3 in GNAC play.  They are hitting .221 as a unit with four players batting over .300.  Andrew Barrera leads the offense currently with 22 hits and six stolen bases.  Barrera and Tanner Williams have both scored seven runs, while Isaiah Hatch has driven in six.  Hatch is also the Cavaliers' leader in doubles with four.  Dominic Enbody leads Concordia in slugging (1.200) and on-base percentage (.714).

On the mound, the Cavaliers hold a team earned run average of 5.40.  Tyler Charlton is the individual ERA leader at 3.46.  Trevor Huddleston leads the Cavs in strikeouts with 19.  Huddleston and Kaleb Jones are the only two players to record wins, while Andrew Wilson holds the lone save.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats opened GNAC play with a 4-0 sweep over Northwest Nazarene.  Central scored a dozen runs in each of the first two games before combining for 16 runs on day two.

Connor Stevenson threw a complete game on day one, earning his second win of the season. Griffin Davis and Mackenzie Gaul each had impressive starts, while the Wildcats bullpen picked up a pair of wins.

Offensively, the Wildcats picked up offense from every spot in the lineup. Yi-Fan Pan came up with a pair of game-winning hits, including a homerun.
