Soccer Travels to Billings for GNAC Opener

ELLENSBURG, Wash. (Sept. 13) – The Central Washington University women's soccer program takes on Montana State Billings in their 2018 Great Northwest Athletic Conference opener.

QUOTABLE
"Montana State Billings has had a strong start to the year," CWU Head Coach Michael Farrand said.  "Steve [Cavallo] has done a great job rebuilding their program.  They've shown they can produce on offense as they've scored in every game.  For us, it's a chance to reset and open conference play 1-0."
 
SCOUTING MONTANA STATE BILLINGS
The Yellow Jackets are 3-1-1 on the season and have scored at least one goal in every game this season.
 
In their latest outing, the 'Jackets picked up a 4-3 win over the University of Providence. 
 
Claire Tevaseu, Julia Keller, and Alexa Iacolucci lead MSUB with three goals each.  Tevaseu is the clubhouse leader for points, with six (2G-2A=6P).  Keller and Iacolucci each have five points.  Cassidy O'Dell has a team-high three assists.
 
Erin Harder and Lili Delgadillo have split time in goal.  Harder has played 290 minutes, while Delgadillo is at 180 minutes.  Each keeper has recorded one clean sheet.
 
Last season, the Wildcats took a 2-0 victory in Ellensburg on Senior Night.  KK Wallace scored both goals for CWU.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats fell 3-1 to Cal State San Bernardino.  Madison Bradley scored the Wildcats' lone goal.
 
Central outshot San Bernardino 16-14 and received more than double the corners (10-4).  Emily Thomson made five saves in goal.
 
The Wildcats dominated control of the pitch for the majority of the game.  They took five shots in the first half and received three corners.  All five shots were on goal.  Central held Cal State San Bernardino to just four shots in the first half.  In the second half, Central unleashed 11 shots, forcing Carly Luna to make four saves. 
 
BRADLEY SCORING STREAK
Bradley has scored three goals in her last three NCAA Division II games.  She leads the Wildcats in goals (3), points (6), and is second in shots on goal (5) and shots (9).
 
This season, Bradley has scored against Stanislaus State University, No. 7 Metro State, and Cal State San Bernardino.
