Bradley's DII Goal Streak Continues, Wildcat Pick Up 4-0 Clean Sheet Over MSUB

BILLINGS, Mont. (Sept. 15) – The Central Washington University women's soccer team dominated in their first victory of the 2018 season, winning 4-0 over Montana State Billings (3-2-1).

In the sixth minute of play, Sydney Lowe drove into the 18 and was dragged down by a defender.  Madison Bradley took the ensuing penalty kick and beat the keeper for a 1-0 advantage.  It is Bradley's fourth goal of the season and she has now scored in four consecutive DII games.

"We are excited to get the conference win," CWU Head Coach Michael Farrand said.  "We put up four goals from four different scorers.  It's always important to get a road win!  Now we. Need a great week to get ready for Seattle Pacific.

Lowe then got a chance in the 10th minute, firing a shot just over the bar.  A corner kick two minutes later led to a pair of shots from Olivia Olason, but both were blocked by 'Jacket defenders.

Billings got their first chance in the 14th minute, when Julia Keller put a shot wide from the top of the box.

Emily Thomson made her first save in the 35th minute on a shot from the far left wing by Cassidy O'Dell.

Lexsi Manning added an insurance marker in the 40th minute, firing a shot home from close range.  KK Wallace picked up the assist.

Makinzie Packwood tacked on the Wildcats' third goal of the first half.  The freshman striker took a pass from Chelsea Marozik and beat Erin Hardenn for a 3-0 Wildcat advantage.

Paige Devine scored her first collegiate goal in the 80th minute, beating a charging keeper with a shot from range.

The Wildcats are back on home on Saturday (Sept. 22) for a GNAC fixture against Seattle Pacific University.
