"Linfield is a very skilled team that has a tremendous amount of offensive discipline," CWU Head Coach Brandon Rinta said.  "We are going to have to keep a high level of focus on the defensive end to not let them get in a rhythm offensively."

SCOUTING LINFIELD | SCHEDULE | ROSTER | 2019-20 STATS | 2018-19 STATS
The Wildcats are 6-1 on the season and are currently riding a five-game winning streak.  They picked up a decisive 129-69 victory over Northwest Indian College on December 9 in their last outing.

In their previous four victories, Linfield capped out at a high of 95 points.  They hit the 84-point mark twice, against Portland Bible and Warner Pacific.  Linfield's only loss on the season came to Redlands in a 94-69 affair.

Linfield's offense is averaging 91.7 points per game and the Wildcats are allowing 78.4 points defensively.  Leading the offensive effort is Dempsey Roggenbuck, who averages 17.1 points per game.

Roggenbuck is shooting an even 50 percent from the field on the season with the majority of his scoring coming from inside the three-point line.  He is also averaging 4.3 rebounds per game, good enough for third on Linfield's roster.  Will Burghardt (14.7) and Grant Gibb (13.4) are also averaging double digit scoring efforts each night.

Austin Hilton leads the rebounding effort for the Wildcats, hauling in 5.6 rebounds a night.  Linfield is currently edging out their opponents in rebounding, 37.6 to 36.7.  Gibb is second on Linfield's roster at 4.9 rebounds per game.  He has also shown a high level of discipline, recording just seven personal fouls in 181 minutes of play.

LAST TIME OUT
Gamaun Boykin picked up a triple-double as the Wildcats took down Multnomah 106-88.  He earned GNAC Player of the Week honors for his efforts.  Boykin scored 20 points, added 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Davon Bolton recorded 19 points and drained five treys.  Kevin Baker recorded 16 points, while Jeryn Lucas picked up 12.

Central wasted no time extending its lead in the second half.  Baker converted a layup 10 seconds into the second half.  After a three from Multnomah's Forrest Smith, the Wildcats recorded a 6-0 run, with jumpers from Baker and Boykin, a free throw from Boykin and Xavier Smith, as well as a layup from Poquette, extending their advantage to double digits for the first time on the night at 59-48.

Richardson knocked down a three from the Lions, reverting the Wildcats' advantage to single digits, but a three from Baker pushed it back to 11.  Richardson made another trey on the Lions' next possession, but it was negated by Bolton with 15:45 remaining in regulation.

The Wildcats' lead dipped to single digits for the final time with 7:23 to play on a jumper from Martin.  Boykin responded with a jumper of his own and the Wildcats did not look back, pushing their lead to 16 on a three from Smith two minutes later.  A pair of free throws from Bolton with 3:24 remaining gave the Wildcats their first 20-point lead of the night.

Central finished with 24 second chance points, 35 points from the bench, and 56 points in the paint.
