The Wildcats dropped both of their outings last week. They fell to Western Washington (91-86) and Simon Fraser (82-66) in GNAC matchups.
The Vikings took a slim 40-39 lead into the locker room at half time. Central finished the first half with a shooting percentage of 55.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc. Western shot just 40 percent from the floor, but knocked down five treys to the Wildcats' four. The Vikings attempted 17 threes, while the Crimson and Black threw up just eight.
After retaking the court for the second half, both teams once again jostled for momentum early. The Vikings gained an early advantage, pulling ahead by 11, with 12 minutes to play in regulation.
