Game Notes
- Hamilton's three interceptions ties a record held by many. The last Wildcat with three picks in a game was Cedrique Chaney at Western Oregon on Sept. 15, 2012
- The loss for Midwestern State was just its third non-conference loss overall since the start of the 2002 season
- This is Central's first win against a ranked opponent since the Wildcats defeated No. 24 Azusa Pacific, 45-31, on Oct. 6, 2018
Quoting Head Coach Chris Fisk
I'm extremely proud of our young men tonight. I thought they fought hard all night long, and thought we were the more physical team tonight. I was really proud of the way our defense played with four interceptions. We were just ball hawks all over the field, and our offense operated the way they needed to. We have a lot of room to grow. We're just barely scratching the surface of what we can do. It was great to see our guys rebound after last weekend.
