ELLENSBURG, Wash. — The Central Washington University men's basketball team has added Noah Pepper for the 2021-22 season.
"We are excited to have Noah joining our program," CWU Head Men's Basketball Coach Brandon Rinta said. "In many respects, he has been a part of the Wildcat family his whole life with his family connections to CWU. He had an uncle play basketball here, an aunt play volleyball here, and his dad is our program's all-time leading scorer."
Pepper joins the Crimson and Black from Selah High School. He is a two-time CWAC MVP and two-time First Team All-State selection. He plans to major in pre-med biology.
"Noah has put together an impressive career at Selah High School," Rinta added. "He is a versatile player that can play multiple positions and impact the game in a variety of ways."
The 6-foot-4 guard also earned a Second Team All-State selection in his freshman year for the Vikings. During his junior season, Pepper averaged 26.8 points per game and 15 rebounds per game. He put up a season high 39 points at Toppenish.
On why he chose CWU, Pepper said: "It's close to home, it has my intended major, and it's a great basketball program!"
