QUOTABLE
"I thought Sam did great in the first game," CWU Head Coach
Alison Mitchell said. "She gave everything she could and we know they're a great hitting team that lives and dies with the long ball. That's postseason softball. I have been waiting for a while for all four facets of the game to come together for us and they did. Super proud of our team, the first game was a battle and we focused on ourselves and did what we needed to do to scrape out a win."
