NAMPA, Idaho – The Central Washington University women's soccer team fell to Northwest Nazarene University, 5-0.
The Wildcats (1-4-0, 0-1-0) chances were few and far between against the Nighthawks (3-1-1, 1-0-0). Northwest Nazarene outshot Central 15-7, including a 10-3 clip in shots on goal.
Ashley Parton gave the Nighthawks an early lead, scoring in the 11
th minute. Four minutes later, McKenzie Buell added a brace to make it 2-0. Another pair of first half goals from the Nighthawks also had a two-minute separation. Carolyn Moravec's 35

"It was a tough loss," Assistant Coach
Emmy Koflanovich said. "We started off strong but let up and gave them opportunities that should not happen. We were able to fix some of our issues for the second half and kept a good fight going. Northwest Nazarene did a good job capitalizing on their chances and that's what made them successful."
Central managed just three shots in the first half.
Sydney Lowe and
Sophia Keenan took shots in the first 10 minutes of the game, forcing Alexis Montoya into action for the Nighthawks.

th minute. Lowe took a shot from the top of the 18 in the 52
nd minute, forcing Montoya back into action, and sent her second shot over the bar in the 71
st minute.
It is the first time Central has been held without a goal this season.
