UNIVERSITY PARK, Penn. - The Central Washington University women's rugby team is set to face off against two east-coast rugby powerhouses this weekend.

First, they'll face the Penn State Nittany Lions on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 4:00 p.m. PST. On May 14, the Wildcats and Nittany Lions faced off as the Crimson and Black won by a score of 27-7.

After taking on Penn State, CWU will travel down to Annapolis, MD. for a match against the University of Navy on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:00 a.m. PST.

Currently, Navy is 3-1 in their fall season, most recently beating West Chester by a score of 20-10 and New Haven by score of 25-5. Navy has three players with 2 tries on the season (Marissa Meyer, Ana Olszewski and Chelsey Washington).

The Wildcats opened their fall slate of matches last weekend in Victoria B.C. They took on the University of Victoria and lost 12-27.
