Women's Basketball Welcomes Annalee Coronado

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University women's basketball team is proud to announce the signing of Annalee Coronado.

"Annalee is a tall athletic guard who plays on both ends. Her size and ability to defend multiple positions is exciting. Additionally, Annalee has a very well-rounded skill set offensively that will allow for her to transition smoothly into our system," said Head Coach Randi Richardson-Thornley.

Coronado comes to the Wildcats from Othello High School where she helped lead the Huskies the past three years. While leading as the team MVP all three years of her high school basketball career, Coronado has also garnered an All-League Second Team selection her freshman year, and All-League First Team selections her sophomore and junior seasons.

Richardson-Thornley added, "She can score it, shoot it, and play make for those around her. Beyond that, she is a great teammate and competitor who will add to our culture and want to win another championship."
The 5-foot-9 Coronado not only put her league on notice, but she also has the whole state on notice notching SBLive WA Class 2A all-state second team accolades. She has also been named to the SBLive's 15 must-see shooting guards during her sophomore season.

Coronado chose CWU because "it felt like home."
