SCOUTING #2 ANGELO STATE
The Rams (9-0, 7-0) have been a highly-ranked team throughout the course of the year and sit in 1st place in the Lone Star Conference standings. ASU has racked up key wins over Colorado School of Mines and Texas A&M-Kingsville this season.

Angelo State has been winning games and they've been doing so in dominant fashion. Their offense averages over 33 points per game while the Rams stifling defense holds opposing offenses to under 11 points and just over 200 yards per outing.

Senior Quarterback Zach Bronkhorst leads an Angelo State offense averaging over 440 yards per game. Bronkhorst has 158 completions for 2,107 yards, 16 passing touchdowns and six interceptions. He's second in the LSC in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Nate Omayebu III leads all Rams rushers. His 901 rushing yards lead the conference and has tacked on seven rushing touchdowns.

Bronkhorst spreads the ball around to a variety of receivers, led by Noah Massey. Massey has accounted for a team-leading 473 receiving yards and three touchdowns. The Rams have two other receivers over 300 yards (Rasheen Green & Kyle Bradford).

Leading the Angelo State defense in tackles is Redshirt Freshman Defensive Back Eric Rascoe (57.0). Rascoe has added four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and an interception to his season statline.

Right behind Rascoe is Linebacker Micah Flowers who has 56.0 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and an interception this season. Daron Allman leads the team in sacks (7.0). Andrew Pitts has a team-high six interceptions.

GAME HISTORY VS. ASU
The Wildcats are 0-1 all-time against the Rams, with their only matchup coming on Sept. 25, 2021 in Ellensburg, Wash. In a defensive clash, the Crimson and Black fell by a score of 9-14.

JJ Lemming struggled to generate offense against the Angelo State defense that held him to nine completions for 114 yards and two interceptions. The CWU offense will look to find a way to break through an ASU defense that remains just as strong, if not stronger than it was a year ago.

RECAP VS. #20 TEXAS A&M-KINGSVILLE
The Wildcats will travel to San Angelo, Texas after looking as good as they have all season against the Javelinas last week. On a crisp night, the Crimson and Black upset #20 Texas A&M-Kingsville at Tomlinson Stadium by a final score of 23-19.

On offense, Cameron Daniels was the star of the show in the absence of Tre'jon Henderson. He rushed for 130 yards on 22 attempts, an average of 5.9 yards per carry.

JJ Lemming started at QB, logging 142 yards and two passing touchdowns. Marcus Cook led CWU receivers with 41 yards and two receiving touchdowns, including the game-winning score with 29 seconds remaining.

Defensively, Tanner Volk had a huge performance. He registered a team-high 12 tackles on his way to being named the LSC Defensive Player of the Week. Brett Accimus, Daeon Hudson and Jahleel Breland all had nine tackles. Patrick Rogers logged an interception.
