ELLENSBURG, WASH.- The Central Washington University soccer team (3-12-3, 2-8-3 GNAC) hosted the Western Oregon Wolves (8-4-5, 5-4-4 GNAC) Thursday afternoon at Tomlinson Stadium.
Emily Darcy logged an assist in the first half and scored the game-tying goal in the second half to help secure the draw for the Wildcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Wildcats scored two goals in the contest. Senior
Cassidie Andrews scored first off an assist from
Emily Darcy in the first, and then Darcy would score the tying goal in the second half. The 'Cats finished with two goals, one assist, two allowed goals, and two saves in the contest.
FIRST HALF
- The Wolves were able to grab the first score off an aggressive play by WOU, rushing the 'Cats goalie for the steal and score to put Western Oregon up 1-0 at the 23:17 mark.
- Four minutes later CWU would answer with its first goal of the game off a pass from Darcy to Andrews to tie it at 1-1 in the 28th minute. The 23-yard blast from Andrews found the upper right-hand corner of the net as it squeezed by the WOU goalie.
- The Wolves captured their second goal less than a minute later following a free kick which saw Western Oregon's Johnsrud hit the back of the net from near midfield, with the ball just out of CWU's goalies reach, putting WOU up 2-1 in the 29th minute.
- The Wildcats finished the first half with 1 goal on 1 shot attempt, 1 assist, and 9 shots faced.
SECOND HALF
- The team would come out of the break on a mission, scoring the first goal of the half on a 25-yard attempt from Emily Darcy hitting the upper left-hand corner of the net to tie it 2-2 in the 58th minute.
- The 'Cats would put up three more shots in the half with two being on goal. Defending five shots in the half, CWU's defense would hold on for the tie.

The Wildcats finish their season with Senior Night on Saturday when the 'Cats take on the Saint Martin's University Saints at 7 p.m. on Steve Hertling Field at Tomlinson Stadium. Central Washington University will be honoring its seven seniors.
