ANCHORAGE, Alaska- Central Washington (9-13, 5-8 GNAC) men's basketball got outshot by Alaska Anchorage (10-11, 4-8 GNAC) in their 76-66 defeat Saturday night at the Alaska Airlines Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anchorage had the upper hand early but a three from Colby Gennett gave the 'Cats the 17-16 lead with 10:11 left in the first half.
- Anchorage scored 13 points off 12 Wildcat turnovers in the first twenty minutes. This helped the Seawolves go on a 17-5 run to close the half, capped off by a Bradley three that gave them the 40-31 lead.
- Six three-pointers elevated the Seawolves, but 5/6 from the charity stripe kept CWU in striking distance.
- Matt Poquette scored 14 points in the first half on 5/8 from the floor and four made free throws.
- Tyson Gilbert nailed a three extending the Seawolves' lead to 12, 45-33 with 17 minutes remaining in the second half.
- Shooting played a large part in the Seawolves' success, In the second half, Alaska Anchorage shot 55.8% from the field to Central Washington's 38.1%.
- The win snaps a four-game losing streak for the Seawolves.

- Samaad Hector led the 'Cats scoring 16 points and corralling 5 boards. Matt Poquette scored 15 points and went 5-6 from the free-throw line.
- Lachlan Viney led the Seawolves to victory scoring 21 points on 6-11 shooting and dishing out a team-high six assists. Tyson Gilbert and Sawyer Storms each contributed 13 points. Dathan Satchell chipped in 10 points.
