Wildcats to Return to Calif. for Weekend Competition

AZUSA, Calif. - After strong performances at the Whitworth Peace Meet last weekend, the Central Washington University track & field team is set for a couple of meets in Calif. this weekend, including the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational.

Dates: Thursday, Apr. 13, through Saturday, Apr. 15
Host: Azusa Pacific University

ABOUT THE MEETS:
The Wildcats are set to travel 21 athletes down to the meets in Calif., with six to run in multis.
 
The weekend slate is set to kick off with the Bryan Clay Invitational on Thursday. The first day will consist of mostly with decathlon and heptathlon events. This is the team's first multis action of the outdoor season as the team prepares for GNAC Championships less than a month away.
 
On Friday, the Bryan Clay Invitational will be fully underway with a multitude of track and field events. Meanwhile, the Beach Invitational will begin in Long Beach. Both meets are scheduled to wrap up Saturday evening.
