ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University Wildcats volleyball team (11-6, 9-2 GNAC) returns home for a single match this week to take on the Northwest Nazarene University Nighthawks (7-12, 4-7 GNAC) on Saturday, Nov 2 from the Nicholson Arena.

PREVIOUSLY FOR THE 'CATS
The 'Cats split their contests last week losing to Seattle Pacific University 3-1 on Thursday, Oct 24, while sweeping Montana State Billings 3-0 on Saturday, Oct 26.
The Wildcat leaders on the offense included
Marianna Payne, who earned 27 kills during the week, and
Emma Daoud-Hebert, who led the team with a .625 hitting percentage.
Kayleigh-Shay Chang led the team in assists with 64 total for the week, including recording all 42 team assists in Saturday's contest against MSUB.
Defensively, the team was led in blocks by
Morgan Halady and
Scottie Ellsworth, who both earned 3.5 blocks during the two matches.
Hannah Stires led the 'Cats in digs with 37 total.
Shaunessy Fisk and Payne also record double-figures in digs for the week's defensive efforts.
ABOUT THE NIGHTHAWKS
NNU faced the same opponents the past weekend and saw nearly the same results as CWU. The Nighthawks swept the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets 3-0 on Thursday, Oct 24, and then experienced defeat at the hands of Seattle Pacific University on Saturday, Oct 26, getting swept by the Falcons.
The Nighthawks are led by Maren Machado, who leads the team in both kills (208) and service aces (35). NNU's statistical leaders also include Hailey Cheney (63 blocks), Kayci Spray (283 digs), and Gabi Moore (434 assists).
