ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Central Washington University Wildcats volleyball team (12-6, 10-2 GNAC) continues their current homestand as they take on the University of Alaska Anchorage (13-10, 7-6 GNAC) on Thursday, Nov 7, and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (17-6, 9-4 GNAC) on Saturday, Nov 9.

PREVIOUSLY FOR THE 'CATS
The Wildcats won their lone matchup this past week when they defeated the Northwest Nazarene University Nighthawks 3-1 on Saturday, Nov 2 at the Nicholson Arena.

Marianna Payne led the team in kills with 16 total, while Emma Daoud-Hebert led in hitting percentage with a .406 average, and blocks earning 4.5 total. Kayleigh-Shay Chang led with 36 total assists. Hannah Stires and Ellie Marble held down the defensive side of the ball with Stires recording 21 digs and Marble right behind with 20 digs.  

ABOUT THE SEAWOLVES
The Seawolves have gone 3-2 since last playing CWU on Oct 12. Their three wins have been sweeps against Saint Martin's University on Oct 26, Seattle Pacific University on Oct 31, and Montana State Billings on Nov 2.

The Seawolves' leaders include Tia Allen (187 kills), Elder Leilani (91 blocks), Madison Galloway (337 digs), Kadyn Osborne (436 assists), and Hannah Trotter (34 service aces).

The Nanooks have gone 5-1 since playing CWU last. Their lone loss since was to the Northwest Nazarene University Nighthawks on Oct 12. They're currently on a five-game winning streak coming into this week.
