Four Wildcats Selected to Academic All-District Team

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Central Washington University volleyball team recorded four student-athlete selections to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Division II Academic All-District Volleyball Teams.
 
Morgan Halady earned a 3.96 GPA (Psychology) and had a stellar season for the Wildcats. The senior co-led the team in blocks with 108 total and was fifth in scoring with 107 kills for an average of 1.14 per set. Her efforts earned her GNAC All-Conference Honorable Mentions.
 
Following Halady is Emma Daoud-Hebert, who earned a 3.75 GPA (Psychology). Daoud-Hebert co-led the 'Cats in blocks with 108 total. The fifth-year senior broke the GNAC single-season record for hitting percentage, finishing the season at .450, leading all players in NCAA Division II. She was fifth in scoring this season for the team with 215 total kills. Daoud-Hebert earned AVCA All-American Honorable Mention and D2CCA All-West Region First Team for her efforts this season.
 
Earning a 3.59 GPA (Business Administration), Hannah Stires adds the honors to an immaculate season culminating in being named GNAC Defensive Player of the Year. The fifth-year senior finished her career seventh in GNAC history with 1,988 digs and 10th with 4.93 digs per set and led the conference with 5.66 digs per set. She reached double digits in digs in all of her 21 matches this season, garnering all-region recognition for the first time in her career, earning first-team recognition from the AVCA and second-team from the D2CCA.
 
Ellie Marble joins the group, recording a 4.00 (Physical Education & School Health) as she saw a memorable sophomore campaign. She proved to be a dual-threat presence for the 'Cats this season. Marble was second in both kills (224) and digs (217), being competitive on both sides of the ball as well as recording six double-doubles this season. She earned GNAC All-Conference Honorable Mentions for her efforts this season.
 
Halady, Daoud-Hebert, and Stires were also selected as finalists for the CSC Academic All-America award to be announced on Jan. 14, 2025.
