ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Ahead of Saturday's regular season home finale against Western Oregon, the Central Washington University men's basketball team will honor seniors
Anjaylo Lloyd,
Camron McNeil, and
Samaad Hector.
#5, GUARD, ANJAYLO LLOYD
Anjaylo Lloyd joined the Wildcat roster this season and has made an immediate impact. Anjaylo has appeared in 26 games, starting three of them and leads the team averaging 13.4 points per game. Lloyd posted a season-high 35 points in a non-conference win over Cal State San Marcos. He leads the GNAC in Free Throw percentage, shooting a historic 91.7% from the free throw line.
"Jello has made a huge impact in our program in his one year with us." Head Coach
Brandon Rinta said. "He is one of the best shooters I have ever coached, and this team's ability to take advantage of that has been a big part of our success."
Anjaylo
will earn a degree in Sociology with a minor in Communications. After graduating, he plans to continue his basketball career overseas.
#11, GUARD, CAMRON MCNEIL
Camron McNeil joined the Wildcat roster in 2022. Camron has appeared in 50 games, starting 45 of them, and has been recognized with GNAC all-conference honorable mention honors in 2023. Last season, he scored a career-high 29 points in the 'Cats win over Western Oregon. This season McNeil brought the heat against Seattle Pacific. Cam scored 21 points on 8-12 from the floor, one three, and four free throws.
"Cam has been a key leader in our program the last two years," Coach Rinta said. "He is a gifted scorer that is better than anyone I've ever been around at bringing positive vocal energy to everything we do as a team."
Camron will earn a degree in
Philosophy and plans to continue his basketball career overseas.
#24, FORWARD, SAMAAD HECTOR
Samaad Hector joined the Wildcat roster in 202
2. Samaad has appeared in 47 games, starting 45 of them, and had a career night earlier this season scoring 23 points in a rivalry win over Western Washington University. This season, Samaad leads the GNAC in rebounding, securing 8.4 boards per game. Hector
received GNAC all-conference honorable mention honors in 2023.
"Samaad has also been a key leader in our program the last two years. He has also been a strong voice and active leader on campus for the Wildcat student-athletes," said coach Rinta. "Samaad has worked hard to become the player and student he is today. He will go down as one of the best rebounders in program history, which is a testament to his work ethic."

Samaad will earn a degree in Sociology and Law and plans to pursue a pro basketball career.
