ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University women's rugby team will charge into the USA Rugby D1 Elite Playoffs with a semifinal matchup against Life University.
 
The Wildcats and Running Eagles will meet for the third time this season and for the second time in Marietta, Georgia with a 4:00 p.m. PST matchup on Saturday, March 30.
 
Life traveled to Ellensburg to open CWU's season back on October 7, 2023, with the Running Eagles running away with a 41-5 victory with Winnie Namosimalua powering her way to the Wildcat's sole try.
 
The Wildcats then traveled down to Marietta on March 2, 2024, falling 22-0.
 
Central will look to garner their first win over Life since a 10-5 victory in Marietta back on March 27, 2021. The two squads met in the semifinals of last year's USA Rugby D1 Elite Playoffs held in Annapolis, Maryland with the Running Eagles squeaking away a 22-19 victory.
