Wildcat Football Welcomes Gallatin as New Special Teams Coordinator and Safeties Coach

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – The Central Washington University football team is excited to welcome Jared Gallatin as the new Special Teams Coordinator and Safeties Coach.
 
Gallatin joins the Wildcat staff after having served most recently as a defensive graduate assistant for the Fresno State Bulldogs out of the Mountain West Conference. During his time with the Bulldogs, Gallatin worked closely with the defensive backs.
 
Before his time with Fresno State, Gallatin spent two seasons at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota coaching the team's linebackers and serving as the recruiting coordinator. He also was on the Marauders staff in the summer of 2020 working with the defensive backs as a graduate assistant and cornerback's coach.
 
Prior to joining the Marauders staff, Gallatin worked as a defensive graduate assistant working with the linebackers at Football Championship Subdivision powerhouse, South Dakota State.
 
During the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Gallatin was a defensive graduate assistant and assistant defensive backs coach at Northern State as he earned his Master's of Science Education in Sport Leadership.  
 
The Polson, Mont. native graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and Exercise Science in 2017 after playing defensive back for the Battlin' Bears football team.
