BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Central Washington Wildcats softball team fall to the talons of the #1 seed Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks on day one of the GNAC Tournament.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

SCORING:
· The Nighthawks squeezed one run in during the bottom of the fifth inning, Jami Obringer scored after a pop fly out to right field by Emma Mulligan.
PITCHING:
· Ashlee Laver pitched another complete game for the Wildcats allowing six hits, one run, zero walks, and struck out two out of the twenty-four batters faced.
· Sidney Booth pitched seven innings for the Nighthawks allowing, three hits, four runs, and struck out seven out of the twenty-eight batters faced.
HITTING:
· The Wildcats finished with three hits with Laney Kaysner leading with two, and Serena Perez having one hit.
· The Nighthawks ended with six hits with Abigail Gagnon and Obringer each having two hits. Mulligan and Clarissa Moreno each having one.
SERIES HISTORY:
· The Wildcats and Nighthawks have met 121 times with CWU owning the series of 84-37.
