Box Score ANCHORAGE, Alaska. – The Central Washington University men's basketball team (10-5, 4-1 GNAC) returns from its road trip to Alaska with two wins after defeating the University of Alaska Anchorage 64-52 Saturday night.
Quoting Head Coach Brandon Rinta
"That was our best defensive effort of the year. Anchorage is a very good offensive team. To hold them to 34 percent from the floor and 27 percent from three was the difference. Maverick came up with a big double double and Jordan and Cavin combining for 11 assists was huge for us. It is so hard to sweep this Alaska trip. This team showed a lot of toughness this weekend."
